Automatic feeders are a game-changer for cat owners who spend long hours away from home. They distribute food according to a preset schedule, which is perfect for cats needing multiple meals or for those days when you're out all day. Ever since I got this automatic feeder, the worry about my cat being hungry while I'm away has vanished. I highly recommend it.

Great pet feeder. However, initial setup is a little complicated. I assume because you are just starting to navigate through the menu, it isn't clear how to set things up. A tiny manual included in the box is adamant that first you need to set up a clock, but there could be a few extra steps mentioned how to do it. It should be explained that the display on the feeder won't look exactly how it is in the manual. Every manual picture has a clock (time) displayed. It actually won't show until you unlock the display. That's when you can set the time or edit it and then view it once it's set up. And after you go through time set up, it allows you to pick what size portion you want and then you can set the time that portion gets spit out of the feeder. Another piece of information that could be displayed somewhere more visibly, is the actual size of each portion. When I was setting up my cat feeder, I chose portion P-02 just to try. I had to google separately to see if any weight is listed anywhere in the portion. It ended up being what I wanted under 1/4 of a cup around 18 grams. At least that's what it looked like. Overall very good product for a price. We'll see how it works in the future. I mainly bought it because we are getting ready to leave our cat by himself for 2 days and I wanted to make sure he'll have plenty of food. Oh one more pro is that if there is a power outage, the feeder won't stop working because you have to put 3 D batteries in it. So it has 2 power sources.
