My cat loves this fountain. This water fountain is a stylish ceramic design that goes well with my furniture style. It's smooth inside and very easy to take apart for cleaning. It has a few water flow patterns, so I can choose the one that suits my cat. The water flow circulates all the time to keep the water clean and fresh for my cats. It's so quiet that it doesn't disturb us at all. It is rechargeable, so it is very convenient to put it anywhere. Sometimes I put it in the yard, too, and when my cat gets tired of playing in the yard, it runs to drink water by itself. My cat was a little scared at first, but it got used to it within a day and now loves the bubbling stream of water and even drinks more often than before. It is also good that it has a large capacity that I usually fill up once every few days. I am happy to see that it knows how to stay hydrated every day.

I noticed that my dog had started ignoring his regular water bowl, but after setting up this fountain, he’s been drinking more regularly. The design is great, and it’s built out of ceramic, which feels sturdy and easy to clean. It have a awesome feature is the automatic water flow. The fountain recognizes when my pet is near and starts releasing water, which is such a clever touch. It makes him curious and encourages him to drink more, especially on days when he’s not super thirsty. The filter also keeps the water fresh, so I don’t need to change it as often as I did with his old bowl.

I have two cats, both are really good about drinking water from the bowls. My one cat, however, is absolutely terrible when it comes to any water container that is larger than her tiny water bowl. I have tried big bowls and I have tried gravity dispensers and she just gets so curious about the water source and winds up treating it like a water park - water all on the floor, none left in the bowl. So, needless to say, I was a little skeptical to purchase this because I anticipated the same issue. Day 1: I was absolutely correct. She was constantly batting at the bowl. Luckily, it is pretty heavy and didn’t move, but that didn’t stop her from swishing all the water out with her paws every 5 minutes (honestly she seemed to be having quite a bit of fun.) Even though she would play in it, she wouldn’t drink from it and would only drink from her tiny bowls. My boy cat took to it and instantly ditched the old fashioned stand still water bowls (hes alway has been a boujee boy.) Day 2: Still no luck. Woke up to the fountain telling me it was low water because lo and behold all of the water was on the kitchen floor. She had even managed to somehow wedge the tray partially tipped in the bowl. If a water fountain was…disheveled. But alas, we keep trying. Stick a new dry towel under it and hope she gets bored. Day 3: Boredom seems to be creeping up on her as I am still waking up to water on the floor but significantly less than before (think flash flood instead of tsunami). She still won’t drink from it, but boy-o is living his best life. Day 4: Rejoice! I woke up to NO water on the floor! I even caught her taking a tiny sip from it before scuttling back to her old bowl. Day 5: She is OFFICIALLY a fancy lady now who takes her water filtered and stirring! TLDR; took a little while for the cats to get used to, but it is a sturdy thing and good for curious cats if you’re patient. I have not had it for very long so I will update if it suddenly stops working or has issues. So far so good!
